Jeff Koons, “Seated Ballerina” is a mirror polished, colored, stainless steel sculpture that elegantly sits at Rockefeller Plaza….oh and she’s 45ft high! When the light hits her in the right places, she feels like she’s actually moving!
Sitting on the roof gives you a whole different perspective of NYC. The noise softens, the air is different, the pace slows down, and your perspective changes….your mind wanders and you can dream. you can hear your thoughts from up here.
I forget how beautiful sunsets are in New York City….with all the hustle and bustle, it’s until you stop or and go by the waters edge…it takes your breathe away. for us New Yorkers, take some time and just sit near the water one night, I promise you won’t regret it my friends. enjoy….
So artist Jeff Koons has done an amazing collaboration with none other than Louis Vuitton called “Masters”! I visited the pop up shop on Madison Ave a few days back…..if you want to see more, click here for a video! Jeff Koons did a great job of remastering the classic and keeping the quality and integrity of these classic Masters!
