spook6Ok, so I’m not big into carving pumpkins (although I do enjoy some pumpkin soup!) and not huge into Halloween (although I have been Mary Poppins before) but this is a sight you have to see in person! The Louisville Jack O Lantern Spectacular has 5000 incredibly carved pumpkins lining a 1/4 mile walking trail in the pitch black of the night! It is nothing short of ‘spectacular’ and mind blowing the talent it takes (and patience) to do this. They had an ‘evolution of man’ theme winding its way around a trail, accompanied by sound coming out from the trees. My photo’s really do not do it any justice, but go on the website and take a look, then plan a visit there next year!
